Bad Days

I have been absolutely terrible this weekend. You know those days where you tell yourself, "I deserve this treat," over and over again? Well, those treats add up.

A month or so ago, I read an article on CNN about a woman who lost a lot of weight. She was quoted saying, "If you have a bad day, don't make it a bad week." I really loved this quote. It is written on our fridge as a constant reminder.

Needless to say, today and yesterday have been "bad days." I really don't want to make it a bad weekend. Feeling a lack of self control. It is like once I decided to step it up by blogging for the world, my will power fell off the face of the planet. I hope you have been stronger than me!

But here's to tomorrow. It is a new day!

  1. Okay, so if we're using this as our confessional--I didn't exercise after feeling so inspired to do so. Healthy eating is where I am thriving right now. Lazy bum-ness is what is killing me! Just have a hard time finding the time. Thoughts?

    1. So I struggle too in the exercise department. But I have found two different workouts that I would recommend for starters. The first. Jillian Michael's 30-Day Shred. It is twenty minutes. We all have twenty spare minutes. And it kicks my butt. However my current favorite workout program is Walk Away the Pounds. 15 minutes for the one mile workout and add 15 minutes for every additional mile up to the four mile workout. We put a show on the tv and use the laptop for the workout DVD but muted. It is a good method for me... Though confession: I only exercised once last week. Oops! Here's to more confessions and more help to come!
